Principal’s Message

A constant in the school has been the establishment of a culture that promotes a safe, secure, guided, and nurturing learning environment. The basic premise of the school has been a dedication to educating students entering this program with credit deficiencies, and culminating in their graduation from high school.
The Independent High School itself is viewed as a teacher. Students learn not only from the instruction offered, but from the implicit lessons as well--the ways adults and young adults treat each other, set priorities, and make decisions.
